Problem:
I am currently in 10th grade, attending public school. I was wondering: if I were to switch to homeschooling using Discovery K-12, would my credits already obtained from public school carry over? For example, my Discovery K-12 schedule contains Geometry. I am a year ahead in math and took Geometry in 9th grade, so if I were to switch my math course to Algebra 2 (which I am currently taking in public school), would the Geometry credit count for me since I took it in a curriculum other than Discovery K-12? Is any paperwork necessary to prove any credits previously obtained from public school?
Another of my concerns is that I am taking both Biology AND Chemistry this year in public school, due to my being unable to take Biology in 9th grade. In short, I do not have a Biology credit, and my Discovery K-12 course is Chemistry. Is it possible to take two sciences using Discovery K-12, or would I need to be behind a year in science and take Biology instead of Chemistry?
