Daily Negotiation Journal. This activity encourages regular practice and reflection, helping you develop your negotiation skills over time.
Instructions
- Daily Reflection: At the end of each day, reflect on any negotiations or discussions you had. This could include interactions with family, friends, classmates, or colleagues.
- Identify Negotiation Elements: For each interaction, identify the key elements of negotiation, such as the parties involved, the goals or objectives, the strategies used, and the outcomes.
- Evaluate Your Performance: Assess your performance in each negotiation. Consider what went well, what could have been improved, and what you learned from the experience.
- Set Goals: Based on your reflections, set goals for improving your negotiation skills. Focus on areas where you feel you could be more effective or confident.
- Track Your Progress: Keep a journal or log of your daily reflections and progress in negotiating skills. Note any insights or strategies that you want to remember for future negotiations.
