- Prepare Your Questions: Create a list of questions to ask parents or family members about their experience managing the family or a team at work. For example:
- What strategies do you use to keep the family/team organized and on track?
- How do you handle conflicts or challenges that arise within the family/team?
- What advice do you have for someone who is new to managing a family/team?
- Conduct the Interviews: Interview parents or family members individually, asking them the prepared questions and taking notes on their responses.
- Analyze the Responses: Review the notes from the interviews and identify common themes or insights shared by different family members.
- Reflect on the Advice: Reflect on the advice and insights shared by parents or family members. How can you apply this advice to your own life or future career?
- Share Your Findings: Share your findings with a friend, family member, or teacher, and discuss how the advice you received could be useful in managing your own family or team in the future.
