  • Research and Choose: Research desserts from various countries and make a list of options available in your local supermarket. Examples include:
  • Flan from Mexico
    Croissant from France
    Mochi Ice Cream from Japan
    Tiramisu from Italy
    Baklava from Turkey
    Churros from Spain
  • Visit the Supermarket: Visit the supermarket and locate the international food section or bakery area.
  • Select Your Desserts: Choose two or more desserts from different countries. Consider selecting desserts with contrasting flavors and textures to get a diverse experience.
  • Taste and Evaluate: Purchase the desserts and taste each one. Pay attention to the flavors, textures, and overall presentation. Note any unique ingredients or cooking methods.
  • Write Your Reflection: Write a brief paragraph describing your tasting experience. Include details about the flavors and how they relate to the culture of each country. Consider how the desserts compare to familiar desserts in your own culture.
