In the book “Lord of the Rings” Written by J.R.R Tolkien Frodo goes through many different experiences that shape both himself and the plot. Including Black Riders and  dark forests. Frodos recent confrontation with the “Black Rider” had left a lasting on him. Prior to the encounter with rider, he had been willing to take the most efficient and most expected path. However time and time again we can see that this is no longer the case. One such example of this is instead of taking the most reliable and safe route, he decided to journey through the Old Forest. Putting not only himself but his allies in danger. At first his arrangement seems have been the best choice as they make their way through the forest. But as the tree seems to move they find that they had gotten lost. Frodo wonders if he made the right decision or if he lead them to their doom. As you can see Frodo choices left a long lasting impact on him. From walking along the most clear path without a care in the world to having taken the most unlikely route even though it puts his and his friend life on the line.
