| Hi, my name is Seth. I had a really fun day today. I got to hang out with my sister again. We are still in Arizona so I like being able to spend time with my sister before we leave. Today, I asked my sister if we could go to Barnes and Noble to look for a book I wanted to read. It was the book Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy. It's a cool, gritty Western book about man's flaws. I wanted to start getting into Western books because im getting Red Dead Redemption 2, the video game, for my birthday. I heard great things about Cormac McCarthy's books, so I wanted to give them a go and see how they are, but it didn't really go as planned, but I'll get to that. Before we got to Barnes and Noble, me and my sister went to Panera for dinner. I got a chibatta cheesesteak sandwich and some potato chips. It was a really great sandwich. I definitely would recommend it. After we left the restaurant, we drove over to Barnes and Noble. When we got there, my sister went right over to the music section; we looked over there for a while. After that, I went alone and looked for it by myself, but I couldn't find it. So I went over to a front desk lady and asked her where it was and if she could help me find it. We looked for a while but still couldn't find it. I even asked her about the Dexter books, but she couldn't find the first one of them either. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't find any of the books I wanted, but I knew if I went to another bookstore, I would probably be able to find them there. After we left and got into the car, my sister put in the Coraline soundtrack she got in the store. After that, we drove home. I thought it was a pretty good day. I was mad that I couldn't find my books but I knew that if I looked harder somewhere else I would find them. I hope me and my sister can hang out together again and maybe go to another bookstore to find my books. |
