| While I was reading The Shining, I noticed something unacceptable. I don't approve of the way Danny's parents treat him. They are not taking care of him well. When Danny, Jack, and Wendy were waving bye to Mr. Ulman, Stephen (the author) described what Danny was wearing, and I was mad and disappointed in Jack and Wendy. He was wearing a jacket that didn't even fit all the way down his arms. They were forcing Danny to live in freezing cold temperatures, and he didn't even have a coat that fits him. I am very disappointed in Jack and Wendy. They are not taking care of Danny very well. They need to get him proper clothing for such cold weather. Hopefully, they get him a new coat soon and, some gloves and a hat. |
