| “Aww Onika you look so pretty baby” “thank you mom as much as I appreciate that your only saying that because you’re my mom” “no I’m saying it because it’s true Nicki you do know your beautiful right??” “Yes mom I’m fully aware of course I am I look just like you but also you have to remember that my confidence and self esteem has decreased since last year”*sighhh* I know baby girl when Onika was in 8th grade last year her best friend my niece/her cousin had died from a car crash and Nicki’s friend group were Really damaged about it there were six of them all together and everyone had there person and Clarissa was Nicki’s person and as anyone can imagine she was going through a lot at the time not only did her cousin/best friend die but my sister Clarissa’s mom had a miscarriage due to the car accident and I had also suffered a miscarriage two weeks after the situation due to certain complications so with that being said she fell into a very severe season of depression it got so bad to where her friend group fell apart due to some of the the of the girls making bad decisions and everyone just ended up growing apart fortunately with months of therapy and a self esteem coach her confidence and light is starting to show again although I am still a bit concerned especially since she’s starting high school this year so she still sees her therapist once a week instead of three times and instead of seeing her self esteem coach once a week she sees her once a month now I can still tell that she’s a little nervous and sad but my oldest of the Carter clan is coming home for the entire winter semester on request of Onika those two are honestly inseparable I admire there bond It reminds me of my Sister and I’s bond but in full honesty Anastasia is nicer then my sister taking summer classes cause my sis would never lol to be honest I can’t blame her because I wouldn’t either what I look like giving up my summer for you ahaha “Babe are you done taking pictures we have to go I still have to go pick up Anastasia from the airport?” *chukles* “yes I’m done William, But babe look at our baby girl she’s going to high school *sniffles* I’m just so proud of you ur gonna have a great year baby” “babe she’s gonna be fine don’t cry Ahah” “guys stop and to be honest can I skip school today??” “ONIKA GISELLE CARTER!!”” “No your going baby it’s the first day give it a chance princess if not for me do it for yourself” *sniffles* “Victoria why you make my princess cry” “aww princess I’m sorry I didn’t mean to make you cry baby it’s just we’ve already talked about this give it chance tryouts for volleyball are this week make the team get to know your teachers and maybe make a friend or two” we’re in third period it’s 11:50 ten more minutes until lunch and my mom was right I met a lot of cool people and I’ve been getting compliments all day on my outfit my bag, hair, even my eyes I can whole heartily say my confidence is beaming I took a chance today and shined my light just a little bit cause ion know those people, “Ringgggg” the first week of school is finally over I’m not gonna lie this is gonna be a great year I love my friends my teachers and my school and most importantly my family, “Heyyyy Nickiiii baby” *squeals!!!* “Anastasia I literally had the best first week Ever, and to top it all of I made the varsity volleyball team!!” “Aww Nickibear I’m so proud of you I told you’d do great I mean you made some friends made the volleyball team but with as much fun you’ve had at school this week I hope you’re going to Have ten times more fun hanging with your favorite sister!!” “OFCC I’m gonna have more fun ur my sister duhhh!!!” *ahahaa, I have had the greatest first year of high school so far and it only too the top I go life is so Much better when you stop trying to be invisible |
