Water, dark water. That’s where it all started. The ocean’s mighty waves sucked the ship named Arcadia into the depths of the water. No one knows how it sunk or where it ended up. Before the Arcadia sunk they sent out many distress calls, all of them saying “They’re in the walls,” Of course everyone who heard the distress calls did not understand. The next thing everyone knew was that ship sunk without a trace. No bodies were found nor lifeboats just the empty water. That was 100 years ago. My name is Cove. I am in the process of making a documentary on the Arcadia. We have been one of the lucky few people that had found the exact coordinates of the ship’s wreckage. I am here on the ocean in a vast boat, with my crew. Roy, Aidan, Hestie, and,  Sean. We all have had diving experience and were lucky enough to find a scuba diver instructor to help. Her job is to instruct us to remain safe while we are diving. Her name is Venna. Sean had made some drones that were designed to take footage of Arcadia’s wreckage. Unfortunately, when we were already set out at sea the drones were not functioning. In conclusion of this, we now were going to have dive in person to collect all of the footage we needed. I was confused about what happened to the drones but yet I was filled with excitement about diving! After the dawn finally broke the sky, the crew ate breakfast. Today was our first initial diving adventure. The ships wreckage was three hundred feet below the surface and unfortunately Sean did not have his diving license to go that deep. You see, the entire crew had to go to diving school and get their licenses. Sean did in fact have a licenses that he could go 100 feet under the water. So, what I mean is that he is not qualified for this deep of a dive. Anyway, we all got suited up for the dive and my heart was pounding. I had no idea if this was cause of excitement or dread. Why would I be feeling dread? Well, Aidan made me nervous. He barely passed his diving test to get his license. I am nervous that he will freak out and run out of air. That is hwy I am experiencing dread . I hope he will be okay. I know that the logical thing to do in this circumstance, is to tell Aidan he can’t dive with us. I keep on looking at him and his skin is as white as a sheet. He had big terrified eyes as he inched towards the edge of the boat. This was where we are going to be sent off into the water. Part of me wanted him to not join us, the other part of me did not want to take this experience away from him. So I decided to say nothing. I want Aidan to have this experience.  I hope I am making the right choice here. I put my helmet on and jumped into the water. I immediately held my breath and then realized I don’t need to do that. I can breathe, I have oxygen. Venna came into the water after me and I heard her grunt through the recording system.  All of our helmets had cameras and microphones so we can communicate with one another while getting footage. The crew jumped into the water and we began our descent.
