The Superheroes Technique – Creativity & Problem Solving
- Choose Revenue Stream Heroes: Select one of the revenue stream superheroes – “The Subscription Ninja,” “The Advertiser Extraordinaire,” or “The Sponsorship Master.”
- Brainstorm Hero Traits: For the chosen hero, brainstorm unique traits and abilities that could help them generate revenue for a startup. For example:
- “The Subscription Ninja” could have the ability to create irresistible subscription offers and retain customers.
- “The Advertiser Extraordinaire” could excel at creating targeted advertising campaigns that drive sales.
- “The Sponsorship Master” could be skilled at securing lucrative sponsorship deals and partnerships.
- Save the Startup: Imagine a scenario where the startup is struggling financially. How would your revenue stream superhero use their traits and abilities to save the startup? Write a short narrative or list of actions detailing how the hero saves the day.
- Reflect on Learnings: Reflect on the exercise and consider how the traits and abilities of each revenue stream hero relate to real-world revenue streams. Think about how creative thinking can help generate revenue and save a startup in challenging times.
