How to Build Customer Relationships: Crash Course Entrepreneurship #10

Project Description:

Customer Relationship Sticky Note Challenge. This activity encourages creativity and strategic thinking in developing customer relationship-building strategies, using the visual and tactile nature of sticky notes to make the process more engaging and interactive.

Materials Needed:

  • Sticky notes
  • Pen or marker
  • Surface to stick the notes on (e.g., wall, board)

Instructions:

  1. Write “Send personalized thank-you notes,” “Offer exclusive discounts,” “Host customer appreciation events,” each on a separate sticky note.
  2. Stick the notes on a wall or board in front of you.
  3. Brainstorm and write down as many creative ideas as you can think of for implementing each of these strategies using additional sticky notes.
  4. For example, under “Send personalized thank-you notes,” you could write “Handwritten notes for each purchase,” “Birthday cards for customers,” “Thank-you emails with personalized recommendations,” etc.
  5. Use different colored sticky notes for each strategy to keep them organized.
  6. After brainstorming, review your ideas and select one idea from each category that you think would be most effective for your mock-up start-up.
  7. Create a plan for implementing these ideas, including timelines and any resources needed.
  8. Reflect on how these strategies can help you build stronger relationships with your customers and improve customer loyalty.
