Project Description:

This activity will help you develop your storytelling skills and learn how to use emotional appeals to create a compelling sales pitch for your entrepreneurial endeavors.

Instructions: 

  1. Choose a product or service that you want to sell (it can be your mock-up start-up idea or any other product/service).
  2. Identify the key features and benefits of your product/service.
  3. Create a storyline or narrative that highlights the problem your product/service solves, the journey of discovery or development, and the transformation it offers to customers.
  4. Incorporate emotional appeals into your narrative by focusing on how your product/service can improve customers’ lives, evoke positive emotions, or solve a personal challenge.
  5. Practice delivering your sales narrative out loud, focusing on your tone, pacing, and emphasis to convey the emotional aspects of your story.
  6. Record yourself delivering your sales narrative and review it to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Reflect on how crafting a compelling sales narrative can help you connect with customers and effectively sell your product/service.
  8. Share your sales narrative with a friend or family member and ask for feedback on its effectiveness.
