This week inside the Student Account we added new content on Native American History. Students can learn about Culture and History, Battles, and Tribes. You can find Native American History inside the Student Account under Special Content on the right sidebar.
Today we’re honoring the men and women who served and fought for our freedom in the U.S. Armed Forces. We want to thank you for all your strength and sacrifice. We added Special Content in honor of Veteran’s Day. Your student can locate Special Content on the right sidebar of their Student Account.
We made many changes over the last few weeks that we can’t wait to share with you.
There is now a designated Login Page. This is where Parents and Students will access their account. The Login Page is located at the top of our Homepage in the black bar.
Parents can now sign up their students for a free Student Account using the new online form. Once signed up you will be directed straight into the Student Account, and have access to 180 days of curriculum.
Using our curriculum, you would be independently homeschooling and would follow the Homeschool Laws set by your state.
We have Updated our reporting tools in the Parent Teacher Account. Your PTA will now successfully track with your Student’s Account.
It is believed that the custom of making jack-o’-lanterns at Hallowe’en time began in Ireland. In the 19th century, “turnips or mangel wurzels, hollowed out to act as lanterns and often carved with grotesque faces,” were used on Halloween in parts of Ireland and the Scottish Highlands.
Now, with only 13 days til’ Hallowe’en it’s time to see your pumpkins! Spend a festive time with the family carving jack-o’-lanterns.
Share them with us, and we’ll post them in our Multi Purpose Room for everyone to see.
